How to apply for admission?
Application forms are available for all the courses from the admission office or you could download a form from our web site. The admissions are open the whole year. The courses start in 3 terms of the year.
What are the entry requirements?
If you are 21 years of age or over, we can waive the requirement for formal qualifications and make our own assessment of your skills and knowledge and decide whether these are sufficient to enable you to succeed in your chosen course(s).
If you are under 21 years of age, you will need to meet the
normal LSST entry requirements. Our minimum requirements are
06 GCSE passed subjects and a minimum of two 'A' levels in
science subjects or a relevant experience.
What is the procedure to apply Visa
for UK ?
Students are advised to obtain a student visa from the
British Embassy or the British High Commission in their own
country. To obtain the student visa, applicants need to
produce the Certificate of Enrolment which the College
issues upon receipt of the full (or half) of the tuition
fees. For students wishing to obtain Entry Clearance before

Is London really a good place to live and to study?
London is an exciting and incredible city in Europe to live and study in. In London, you will find an assortment of culture and environment that will broaden your horizons and make you feel welcome. You've got a lot of theatres, clubs, cinemas, sports centres and all varieties of food at any time of the day. All these places are at your door step.
London is the beating heart of education in Europe. There are another 100,000 students in London studying around LSST.
Can I apply for Grants, scholarships and awards to join LSST?
In UK no institute offers grants or scholarships to its students. However, LSST this year is offering a limited amount of scholarships and fee concessions to its students with merits.
LSST allows students to pay their fees in instalments if they are in financial hardship.
Government Access Funds
If you are an ordinary resident in the UK, hold EU migrant worker status or have been granted refugee status, you may be eligible for help with living & course related costs.
Currently, student loans of £500 or more may be available to students on a low income, to help with course books and equipments etc.
If I get sick, will I pay for the medical treatment in London?
Overseas students who are in the UK for 6 months or longer are entitled to medical treatment under NHS and therefore, medical insurance is not necessary for them. But it does help for quick treatments. Students should register with GP's as soon as they come to London in the nearest surgery.
Do I need a Visa to study in London?
Overseas students require a valid student visa to study in the UK before coming over. But some EU countries do not require visa for the UK. Please contact the British Embassy in your country.
LSST will help its students to provide visa supporting documents when they got admission and paid fees to the school. You will receive a visa supporting pack with details confirming your admission.
Will I get my tuition fees back if my visa
is refused or Withdraw from semester ?

If the Student decides to withdraw from the course for any reason whatsoever after the start of the course, the entire amount of all outstanding fees must be paid in full to the School. In the event that the Student has paid the full fees for the course, he/she shall not be entitled to any refund and shall thereby forfeit the whole amount paid.

If the student’s visa
application is declined from British Embassy (excluding home
office, UK), any fee or deposit received will be refunded in
full excluding the registration fees & other admin cost’, to
the payer of the student fees and subject to following conditions.

If the student’s visa
application is declined and there is a subsequent
appeal, refunds will not be processed until the outcome
of the appeal is finalized.

Any refunds for overseas students will be communicated
to the Home Office and the Foreign Office.

For overseas students who claim a refund owing to a
visa not being granted, LSST must receive the refund
application form within the first four weeks of the start
of the semester, otherwise one semester fees will be
charged from the deposit/tuition fee.
Can I work part time whilst I am studying at LSST?
As an overseas student you are allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week during the course term and 40 hours per week in the holidays as long as your studies are not affected.
Can I pay my tuition fees with a Credit Card?
In order to pay your tuition fees using a credit card you will need to complete
a form which you will need to return to us by fax. We will also need to see photocopies of the card itself to process the payment.
How much money do I need to live in London excluding tuition fee?
It varies from person to person. The average cost for living in London is £400-500 per month.
Accommodation, food and daily use stuff is cheaper around LSST.
How much money do I need for accommodation in London?
Accommodation is very expensive in London City area. A single room cost from £100.00-150.00 per week.
LSST accommodation will cost from £65.00-75.00 per week. Therefore, you must contact accommodation dept before your flight.
What are the job opportunities for students in London?
As an overseas students you are allowed to work 16 hours during term time and 40 hours during holidays.
The school recommends that a student may only work to supplement his or her stay in the UK. In cases where the students require work there are no. of opportunities to work in there are commercial sectors near LSST for full time and part time jobs. These may include PC World, Dixons, McDonalds, and other such companies.
